in Russian “Мой Мурлёнок… Я скучаю”. the most delicious word here is “Мурлёнок” -) I simply don’t know how to translate this and keep meaning close to original

A friend says “Мурлёнок” is something like “kitten” in English, but it can be used in an endearing way towards a loved one.

“kitten” - “Котёнок”. “Мурлёнок” is from word “purr”.
another meaning is a “face” (actually “muzzle”) in a diminutive/hypocoristic manner (with a diminutive/hypocoristic suffix)
